My favorite lake to go swimming even though I have to drive 25 miles (it’s well worth it!) Both ladies that work in the office are really nice. Not understanding all the negative comments.

The cabin was well maintained, clean and cozy. Most comfortable bed ever!! Tammy was very welcoming and always available to answer questions, etc. Great fishing right off their dock. A true gem of a place to stay. We are looking at reservations for next summer!

Always a good experience with the Resort. Rent the little 12 foot aluminum boats often and Greg always keeps them running in great shape and they have never let me down. Highly recommend Silver Beach resort for a great day at the lake. The staff is more than friendly and always accommodate my needs. Cannot ask for better service.Greg and Tammy are wonderful individuals and know how to run a business.

I'm flabbergasted by all the negative reviews. We LOVED our vacation there last week. We stayed in cabin 8 with 6 of us and it was perfect. Greg and Tammy were more then hospitable and were a joy to communicate with. We are already looking at the calendar to see when we can go again!

My family scheduled a long needed lake day with a small group of some of our closest friends. We rented a boat and planned a day of fishing and beach time to last the entire day. It was nearly a 90 minute drive from our home, so we wanted to ensure maximum use of our time. My husband and I got there right as they were opening even though the rest of our party did not arrive for several hours. I had read some previous reviews and was a bit nervous based on those. While I can't speak to their weekend, what I can speak to is what we experienced. We experienced a business doing their best to provide their resort, beaches, and boats while also complying with the ever changing COVID restrictions. They were accommodating and I'm sure they were just as stressed to deal with this pandemic as the rest of us can be. I had a service animal with me and they ensured I knew the animal could be anywhere I was but also let me know that we might be more comfortable outside the beach area (pets aren't allowed on the beach) and they directed us to the other side of the dock right next to the roped off beach area. They were so right. My dog might be a service animal, but he is still a dog, and he needs a minute or two to be a dog when he is at the lake all day. Not only was my dog more comfortable because he had more room, our whole party as more comfortable and we weren't over crowded like the rest of the beach front appeared to be. (well as much as they could be with COVID restrictions). I think the spot was probably the best spot there was. They were not directing me away from the beach to be rude, they were doing it to be helpful. I have no cell phone service out there and my child locked our keys in our car. There were no locksmiths after hours on a Saturday night, but they were able to help me find a company that could come out and help us. They went above and beyond what I would have expected.

I've read some of the reviews on here and honestly, I think people may have confused Waitts Lake Resort with Silver Beach. The new owners Greg and Tammy are the salt of the earth. The tables are clean as well as the beach area. They along with the RV seasonal families.are.all over the place to make sure the areas are safe and clean. How many times can you go into a public bathroom and say I like the way it smelled? Folks, the owners are kind and the people who are there year round, are some.of the most kindest people you will ever meet. Sure the swim area.is smaller than some, and the restaurant is not open regularly, but if you want to experience a.small slice.of heaven, this is the place to go.

We spent 5 wonderful days at this resort in July. It is well maintained and the couple that owns it are great hosts and care that all their guests have a great time. Nice RV sites on the grass by the water... setup your chairs right on the water, no need to go down to the swim area. There is also a little store that sells necessities like ice, beer and drinks. We rented a pontoon boat and had a great time exploring the lake. Will definitely return.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time kayaking and playing in the water. Quiet at night and clean facilities. We had a sweet couple parked behind us that stay there all summer. They helped us park and took our entire family for a fun boat ride. Hope to see them next year.
